Stash Prohibited Products & Activities

The products and activities in the list below are not allowed to be used as part of the Stash platform and the Services. This is almost always because they violate U.S. federal law, Card Network rules prohibit them, our payment service providers restrict them or they violate the security and integrity of our platform and Services. The non-exhaustive list below is maintained separately from: i) the Stash Developer Terms and Conditions for business Customers, like game developers, that license our Services and ii) the Stash Terms of Use for individuals making use of the Services as a website visitor or purchaser of products offered by sellers using the Services, including in-game currency and virtual goods. In addition to the content sold by our customers, this list covers purchases and related activity as well as user-generated content. Stash makes every effort to keep this list as current as possible. However, due to factors like the evolving nature of Card Network Rules, laws and regulations and payment service provider relationships, this list may change abruptly and without notice. Changes to this list take effect immediately. The following products and activities are not permitted through our Services:

• Any product, service or transaction that is illegal in the jurisdiction where the Customer or Consumer is subject to laws
• Unlicensed proprietary materials or content that infringes on the intellectual property you do not own or have rights to use, publish, distribute freely, post or upload
• Materials that promote or enable illegal hacking, cracking or distribution of counterfeit software
• Child pornography  or materials exploiting children in any way, such as  content in any format that features characters who are minors, are depicted as minors, or are suggested to be minors in any sexual or sensual context)
• Games of chance, such as gambling or betting
• Sports forecasting or odds-making with a monetary or material prize
• Lotteries or sweepstakes entries with real-world currency or fees with a promise that entrants or players will win a prize 
• Games of skill, such as video games and mobile game tournaments or competitions with a monetary or material prize
• Unfair or deceptive activities, including Ponzi or pyramid schemes
• Personal or non-commercial transactions 
• Virtual currency that is available for sale and hassome text
  • a value outside of where the digital good or item is published or owned
  • capacity to be sold, traded, transferred or exchanged for cash or redeemed for items not within the originating game and Customer Site, or
  • monetary value, real-world and fiat currency value

• Renting, selling, gifting or otherwise providing access to account-related information to access our Services
• Content that disrupts any other person or entity's use of the Services by attempting to obtain passwords account information, or other private information
• Display, sale or transmission of any other person or entity’s private information or personal data of Confidential Information
• Unauthorized third-party software that intercepts, mines, scrapes or otherwise collects information from or through our platform or the Services
• Content that transmits, hosts or promotes malware or phishing or that may harm or disrupt the operations of the Services, other Stash infrastructure and tools or others, including Stash’s vendors, third parties and Payment Service Providers
• Spam or use of the Services or other Stash tools to transmit unsolicited commercial messages

Capitalized terms not otherwise defined have the meaning provided in the Stash Developer Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to block transactions, activities, or content that we, in our sole discretion, identify as high-risk. Based on our internal review, Stash might be able to support transactions or content covered on this list, subject to our explicit pre-approval. Our decision to do so is not an endorsement of your activity and is not a waiver of our rights.
