Direct-to-consumer platform Stash has launched Stash Pay In-Game Popups on iOS to support developers with off-platform conversions.
Designed for iOS, Stash said it will achieve this by combining frictionless checkout with automated loyalty rewards.
Aside from purchases, game developers can also offer in-game rewards through a branded pop-up that complies with the latest US App Store rules.
The service also supports one-tap checkout with saved payment methods, including Apple Pay and cards used across Safari or other Stash webshops.
Driving conversion
Developers can customise the checkout through Stash Studio and use it either as a standalone solution or as part of Stash’s broader direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform.
“With the changes to Apple’s US guidelines, developers finally have more freedom to guide players toward better value,” said Stash co-founder Justin Kan.
“Stash Pay uniquely brings the web into the game without disrupting gameplay and turns a simple payment moment into a compelling loyalty touchpoint. That combination of less friction and more incentives is what drives conversion.” - Justin Kan, Co-Founder of Stash
